Gaining Skills and Nurturing Talent Workshop Series

The first of a three workshop series entitled Growing Skills & Nurturing Talent was offered by the Center for Dynamic Community Governance (CDCG) on Saturday, April 13 at the Greenbelt Community Center. New ways of dealing with challenging group issues were discussed and demonstrated throughout the day. At the same time, one-on-one sessions were conducted by codirector and author, John Buck, with community organization representatives and local business people. Individualized follow-up will be provided during the next month.

The next workshop will be held at the Franklin Park/ Springhill Lake Community Center on Saturday, September 21. Contact Aileen at aileen@dynamic-governance.org for more information.

A big thank you to the Greenbelt Community Foundation for their support of this year-long project. Also, many thanks to Donna Hoffmeister, LeeAnn Irwin and Angeline Butler, Greenbelt TimeBank members who assisted throughout the day.
